Subject: Log Cabin Shadows
The first time I recall the shadows being seen was one day when my wife and I were in the living room of my mom’s log cabin. I was standing behind the loveseat in the living room and my wife was sitting on the couch, all of a sudden she kind of drew a deep breath; when I asked her what the problem was she stated that she just saw a shadow walk in between her and the television. I was a little skeptical at first, even though my wife is not one to scare easily or say she sees or has seen something she hasn’t. We both went and inspected the area in the living room as well as the front deck outside, because there is a window directly behind the couch and we wanted to make sure no one was on the deck. Well we pretty much laughed it off as maybe a trick of light, even though the sun was behind the house as it was around 5 pm.
Well, approximately a week went by and I was down in my basement bedroom when the door flew open and my wife darted in and said she had just seen another shadow in the living room right where she had seen the one the other day; it was also around the same time as the other day as well. Now take in mind that we had heard stories from my mom about the shadows in the house that she had seen, but kind of blew them off as her eyes playing tricks on her. Well we went upstairs after my wife calmed down and looked around, we could not find anything out of the ordinary and, as we were the only two people in the house, the shadow could not have been caused by anyone.
Well, about two weeks had passed and my mom had seen the shadows a couple of times but my wife had not; I had not seen one yet but could not explain what my mom and my wife had been seeing. Well, my wife and I were in the living room watching television and we both got startled a little when we both saw a shadow come between the TV and the couch. We could not explain this at all and seeing how this was my first experience with the shadows I was very excited.
As time went by I had seen the shadows once more, my wife had seen them twice and my mom maybe two or three more times and each time we could not explain them. It always happens on the main floor and it always happens around the same time, between 5 and 6 pm. Now all of us had a number of other experiences in the house, such as glass breaking and we could not find any broken glass or a mess of any kind; we had heard voices when no one else was home or around us and light touches or whispers in the ears. Now we never felt threatened or in danger as everything we experienced was very peaceful, but we never could explain these things either.
We don’t live there anymore as my mom had to move and my wife and I moved into a house down the street, but we will never forget the experiences we have had there. I hope you enjoy this story.
