Subject: Shadow People (Long)

I am only thirteen years old, yet I have seen the Shadow People more times than I ever wanted--yet strangely, I keep on wanting to see them again...to ask them questions, such as "What are you?" (politely, of course) or "Are you dead?" Most of all, I want to find out (if they ARE dead) what happened to them. But anyway, I should start describing my experiences.
First, the things I saw were simply flashes. They led me to believe in Celtic Paganism, because I first saw one of these flashes on the very day that I discovered Wicca, another branch of Paganism. After asking a Wiccan friend about them (the same one who told me about the flashes) she said that they were faeries. She later told me that, according to Paganism (which I am not promoting! I just have to make sure you understand that...) after you die your body is reincarnated, and she told me that I would become a faerie..an Elven Faerie. Funny thing is that I'm a guy.
Anyway, this has to do with the Shadow People in the following way. I was walking down my stairs to get a drink of water while conversing with her online, and heard a whispering ALL AROUND ME. Every single direction I could point in, there was whispering coming from it. It was one of the scariest things in my life, and I felt like a small child again, running away from the "monsters". I asked her about it, and her answer was: The Shadow People.
She explained that when they are simple black silhouettes of people that you can't see in any way but from the corner of your eye, they're docile, without any harmful intentions. Yet when you can look them in the eye, straight-on, they're becoming hostile. Their red eyes are a major sign of hostility--they want to hurt you. (Understand, at this point, that I still did not see these things yet. I only heard them, and she gave me a full physical description of them.) Then she told me how to get rid of them.
As a small anecdote, she told me what they do when they become hostile. For example, they may do some "slightly mischevious" things, such as throwing knives and other sharp objects at you.
The problem is that they came back. I saw one of these figures while in my room late at night (I only saw them at daytime once) and I got so scared that I couldn't stop shaking for an hour. Trust me, it's that scary. After a bit of online research, I found out that they ENJOY WATCHING YOU SLEEP and that, oftentimes, people who see these 'people' see them leaning over their bed, watching them. This made me not sleep for one night.
The thing that really makes me believe in them is the fact that she gave me their full physical description before I saw them--then when I saw them, it fully fit the description.
One last anecdote; a small explanation that I came up with. I was working on my computer when all at once a shadow spread across a part of my monitor, as if there was something standing beside me, watching me work. It seems like a nice gesture if only I could know what they are! That seems to be what scares people most.
Now for my explanation (tell me if anything that happened to you fits this!) The time I heard them, I heard them all around me--which can be a slight distortion of sound, processed strangely by the brain. In pure, simple English, I just said that I think I only heard them whispering through my left ear, yet my brain, confused, sent the message weirdly and made me think I heard it all around me. Then when I saw it one time, I saw it through my left eye. Usually when I see it, it seems to be on the corner of my vision or in the middle--but always on my left corner. Supposedly, the right side of your brain controls the left side of the body, and the left side of your brain controls the right side of the body. This means that, if I only saw these Shadow People on my left sensory organs (ex eyes, ears, etc) then the right side of my brain was the only side to perceive them. In school, last year (in seventh grade) we learned that the left side of the brain controls pure facts, for example, math, science, etc, while the right side controls creativity, like art. Therefore, the creative (and probably most understanding and open-minded) side of my brain was the only side to see them. I'd rather not elaborate on this because this email is very long already!
Hopefully people put two and two together. Please write me responses to this because I would like to see how true my theory is. Thank you,
