Okay. My grandmothers house has been haunted since it was built. My mother always told me about how they'd hear all the doors slam upstairs, but would go upstairs and no one would be there. Just the other day we visited the house and were all sitting around talking when we began to tell stories about the house. Here are some of the stories we told:

When my Uncle was little, he once said that he woke up and saw a man standing at the foot of his bed. He said that the man had a good aura about him, and he wasn't afraid.

My grandmother said that during the day, she sits and watches TV. The laundry room is right off the TV room, and leads out to the garage. The basement door is right across from the laundry room door in the garage. My grandmother told us that many times she has heard and knocking on the laundry room door, and has even got up to investigate, but to her surprise, no one was there.

My mother’s twin brother (Gary) family sees more ghosts than anyone in the entire family. For example:

Abigail, their daughter, was playing a game where she would run down the hallway towards the front stairs, and then back down the hallways towards the back stairs and her parents. On that day she got to the front stairs, stopped, with her mouth agape, and then raced back down the hall to her parents and hid her head. No one could get her to tell what she had seen.

Gary's wife, Meghan, was coming up the front stairs one day because her son was crying in his crib. As she got to the top of the stairs, she saw a green mist in the form of a lady float up the stairs and down the hall to the room where her son was.

Meghan's son, now older, one day came barreling out of the library and straight into his mothers arms. "mommy mommy!!" He cried "I'm afraid of the lady!"

"What lady?" Meghan had asked skeptically.

"The lady in the library! She just appeared and she wouldn't talk to me!"

As you can see my grandmother’s house is definitely haunted. They've lived in the house for over 30 years, and have coexisted pleasantly with the spirits in the house.
